Re: Chrome Plating
John, I can recommend New England Chrome, East Hartford, CT. Dean Malinguaggio (don't ask me to pronounce it though!) 860 528 7176. Dean is a straight up guy. He has been around for 30+ years, did most of my car and reasonably priced. There is a guy I will strongly NOT recommend in my area, but not on the NDB. It sounds as though most of your parts are worth plating, they really have to be in bad shape before you replace them. I don't mean to insult you by suggesting getting a quote and comparing to the catalogs, but that's what I did.- Top

Re: Chrome Plating
Just went thru what your going thru now.... Believe... Use your original parts if you can... I have a '60 and bought some repro parts for the grill... They just don't fix right... So I had to have my old parts redone... even though the pitting was bad.... Original parts just fit perfect!!!...- Top

Re: Chrome Plating
I too am finishing a 1960 restoration. I have seen pictures of 60 Corvettes that have and some that don't have the tray under the grab rail on the passenger side interior. What is correct.
I understand the reflector in the back was not on earlier production 1960's. Is the tray also a mid year addition???
