65 Grill Tab

Hi Guys,

Does anybody have close up pics of the center grill tab? Both sides preferably. This is the grill tab that attaches the top center of the grill to the nose. Also, need detailed measurements. The tab is long gone from my 65 and I need to recreate it. Any help would be apprciated.

The grille tab wasn't a thing of precision to start with. You ought to be able to estimate it's width/length by simply looking at what's left of your original (width) and mounting your center grille reinforcement bar. Get the fiberglass to overhang the bottom 'L' of the reinforcement bar by roughly 1/8-inch on each side and, maybe, 1/4-inch at the back toward the radiator and you've got the job 'knocked'....
