    Headlight Motors 1963

Where can I locate a technical drawing for the assembly of the headlight motor system for a 1963? (Looking for the gear drive system) I believe that Bubba worked on my headlight light motors.

    Thanks for any help!

Some of the parts vendors have break downs in their catalogs

      Thanks Steve

I checked through some catalogs and shop manuals with no luck. I found pictures of the parts but not a sequence of order to install.

      I will keep looking.

I think I found the "exploded view" in the LICS catalog.

Ref. GM Corvette Parts Catalog exploded view

The P & A 30B. It's quite clear on the order of motor assy. Sheet 2-11P in my '53-70 parts catalog.

LICS and other aftermarket parts catalogs usually base their artwork on the GM source.

            Thanks Wayne & Paul

I found the drawing in the Parts and Accessories Catalog. Would you happen to know the direction of the cup for washer part # 4238082? The reason I said that Bubba must have been in these assemblies is that one washer is cupped towards the electric motor in one assembly and the opposite direction in the other.

            Thanks for the help!

After you save the picture. Rename it and add ".jpg" as the name extension.

Ray - If I recall correctly, the convex side of the cupped washer faces the smller washer which contacts the gear. I beliver the convex washer (cup washer) applies pressure to cotrol play.....Craig
