Usage for #3866924 Fuel Line Tee

Can anyone help me with the application for #3866924 chrome fuel line tee? My Feb, 1971 catalog says it fits 65-68 big block and 69-79 high horse 350, but I can't recall ever seeing a chrome fuel tee on those models, or any other for that matter. Am I missing something or is the parts book inccorect? Thanks for any help.

The GM #3866924 fuel line tee was never used on a Corvette in PRODUCTION. In PRODUCTION most, but not all, Corvettes requiring a tee used tee GM #3886153. This is a brass tee which may or may not be zinc plated. However, this part was never available from GM in SERVICE. Instead, for Corvette SERVICE for 1966 L-72, 67-69 L-88, and 70-72 LT-1, GM once supplied the GM #3866924 tee. This part was originally used in PRODUCTION on some other 66-69 Chevrolet models with Holley model 4150 carburetors. It's SERVICE only for Corvettes, though.

No Corvette from 1973 to 1981 used a fuel line tee as all of these model years were equipped with Rochester Q-Jet carbs only and, of course, these carbs are single inlet.
