C3 Rear spring dimensions (2nd try)

Hi all,

Since you were all of to the Park City happening you've might have missed the fact that I'm now completely into the C3's as well and therefore have tons of questions outstanding to get the car back in top flight status.

One of the first tasks which needs to be addressed first is the re-arching of the rear spring to get the car approved for driving on our roads, a title and the needed license plates. Therefore in need the dimensions of the spring in unloaded condition to instruct the spring re-arch company when they start working on it...

If someone could help me out here that would be greatly appreciated!

Additional question on top of my previous on:

Can it be that the bolt used (as shown in the picture) is to long? What would the proper dimension of the bolts be?

PS I have a 9 leaf (standard) spring on a 427 car.

The bolt looks about right, especially since it has a cotter pin. I've never seen a replacement that wasn't a locknut.
