Re: No Clem, because I was scared $###less!
Big John here. Thanks for all the comments. Car was definetly a 63,64,65 or 66
I remember the coupe body sytle.
Just a side story about parking cars. Kenny the lot man in charge must have been
about 30 years old back in mid-60's. I called Busch's Grove to ask about the
history of the place (any relation to Budweiser Busch family) answer was no
however place was in Busch family since early 1900's. The man I spoke to a couple of years ago, stated "Kenny, he still works here in the lot", what a
suprise. Kenny use to suprise us young guys with a quick flash of the monthly
playboy centerfold!!! He taught us to remember the car owner & car so when they
walked towards the lot we would go get their car without a valet ticket.
Tips were very good. Kenny would sometimes tell one of us to get the door on
that next car that was pulling in, usually a secretary (a regular) he would
ask us afterwards "did you see it?". We didn't get his drift right away and
later he would tell us "they not wareing any underware".
OH, to be young again!!! Big John
