I've got the new carpet for my 63 all laid out in the car and it looks great. Everything, after working it a bit, seems to fit quite well (Al Knoch).
The biggest problem I see in sizing things up is the clumping of carpet in the corners where the convertible top and covers mount and in the back by the springs. Other than that, seems like a straight forward thing.
It also looks pretty much like the rear panel (right behind the seats) gets installed last and over the top of the front carpet pieces. However, that will also leave some slack where the console goes.
So a couple of fine details and I'm on my way.
Thanks!
ps: For the rear fenderwell pieces do you put adhesive on the back of the carpet/jute where the carpet lays on top of the lower piece? Or just where it attaches to the body?
