and I haven't been able to find the answer to my question on paint colors for 1958. Is the Silver Blue Metalic exterior paint the same as the Blue Gray interior paint? Everywhere I look, they are identified with those names, but there is no mention as to the similarity/difference. There must be another 58 owner out there who has come across this information. After two years of preparing this car, I'd hate to screw it up now. Thanks for the input.

Interior colors are usually not the same. They tend to have various amounts of flatener in them. I have the old Dupont books I will see if it list the color. -

OK heres the scoop. I checked the old dupont paint book. It list Dupont # 2696-L silver blue metalic. It has a Note: also used as interior color. In another section it list 2696-L silver blue as being interior color on 500A,512B,502A,514B exterior combinations. So the answer is YES.Comment
