    window sticker glue

just about to finish my restrotation on my 1971 LS-5, I need some window sticker glue. anyone know what kind of glue the factory was using in 70. I did a search an all I could find was a glue called Mucelage, but they think it was used in the sixties? would this work on a build of the seventies cars also? any one know if they were still using this type glue. anyone have any NOS? I know the NCRS says you dont need a window sticker, but I want it to look just like it came from the factory. glue an all.

It was a water-based/water-soluble light amber-colored glue; it was in a tray with a roller that transferred the glue solution to the back of the sticker when the sticker was run through the dispenser.
