    59 go kart

    Hi, I just purchased a 59 go kart and would like to talk to some people in regard to how they originally cam new. This kart is pretty much complete but is missing some of the fine details that I would like to correct. Some items would be trunk latch, body side mounting and set up of the original motor. Thanks in advance.

                  The engine was a Lawson. The cart was made by Yardman. I know that the rear hinge and latch were a problem area because even good examples are usually changed or missing. I will give you a person to contact that has the one that I bought some years ago that was complete with the original paperwork. Maybe he can help.
