    Spraying Sequence Advice Needed

Will be shooting acrylic lacquer on a C2 Roadster, and wanted the advice of those who have been there/done that. Should the doorjambs and drip lips around the hood & deck be shot before or after the exterior surfaces??
Should I install the doors, deck lid & hood? Or is it fine to shoot them on stands, along as it's from the same mix? I'm just shooting Ermine white, which is fortunate since this is my first complete respray.
Any & all helpful hints appreciated, as always.

Mike - others will chime in, but you are lucky you have a non-metallic white you are dealing with. Metallics are much more prone to color changes due to climatic conditions that affect flow and flake settling. My personal method would be to shoot the less acessable areas first, then follow with the main panels. They can be shot on stands, color match is easier if it is all on the car, but with white it should not be a problem. I have done it both ways and had good results....its sort of a personal preference thing. Be happy your first paint job is white....practice a bit on some scrap panels first to get the feel...and use good equipment.......good luck! Craig
