Suggestions for C1 Front License Plate

I've got an antique plate on the back of my 1962, and therefore, my state doesn't require anything on the front. And I've only got one plate. But 58-62's need something in that front license plate holder. Maybe I'll put an NCRS plate there. But first I'd like to see if anybody has any other ideas.

I've seen Chevrolet new car photos that had plates with the year (1962) in large numerals in the middle. "Chevrolet" and "Corvette" are over and under the numerals, respectively, and are in a smaller font. That looks nice. Kind of official. I like plain and simple. I can't find anybody to make a duplicate of the antique plate in the rear.

Any suggestions? Any sources?

My '58 has "ITSA58. Official state license plates. It saves me an explanation when people ask me what year is it? I just point to the plate.

Why don't you either get an air brushed plate with the picture of your car or just look for another good set of plates and put them both on.

I put a vintage real 1957 plate on the front of my 57..My rear state plate said NCRS.

if you dont need a front plate, I would leave it off. the cars look better with out a front plate. I dont run one on my 71 also my state does not make you run one on classic cars just the new hunks of junks.

At many swap meets there is some one that makes those plastic plate on the spot saying this and that or names . have them make your plate like the back one , it will fool most people thinking it's real.

Remove the entire plate holder and bracket assembly - the car looks better without them!

Don't put any plate on the front. I took the bracket off my 57, it loooks a lot cleaner.
