I put a set of new rear leaf springs on my 61. The old springs had replacement leafs in them (no grooves) and were in pretty bad shape Only three leafs in each spring had grooves. Should I bother to try and find correct springs? I thought new springs would be safer for driving. The car is mostly original. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks as always, Joe
