    Front rotor runout -- SOLVED!

Just wanted to let everyone know how I fixed my front rotor runout problem.

First of all, the hub runout measured about 12/1000 of an inch. Yes, that's a lot! So, I took the hubs and rotors to the local Vette "Spa" (Dewey's Just Vettes) and he turned the hubs on his brake lathe. He was centering off of the new bearing seats, so it turned down almost to zero runout. It worked so well that even with the rotors, runout was only about 2/1000 inch, without turning the rotors!

    Yes, there is hope!

Brandon, Thanx for telling us your runout problem is solved. It is nice to know that my suggestion worked. Don't forget that if you experience the problem in the rear, the axle flanges are just as prone to having runout as the front.
