George----
Well, you could start by asking me. Of course, it depends what part of the FE-7 suspension that you're talking about. But, I'll give you the whole package.
I believe that the front and rear springs and front and rear stabilizer bars were manufactured by either Rockwell Automotive or Chevrolet-Livonia, MI. I believe that most of these parts were made by Rockwell, though. These were OEM parts manufactured in Rockwell's OEM plants. They were never sold in the aftermarket, as far as I know. With all of the changes in the automotive supplier industry, I'm not sure that Rockwell is even still involved in the manufacture of automotive components. In any event, these parts are no longer manufactured by either original supplier.
The original shock absorbers were manufactured by Delco Products in Dayton, OH. Delco Products is now a part of the GM spin-off company DELPHI Automotive. However, they still manufacture these shocks, albeit in slightly different configuration. The fronts are GM #22046803 and the rears are GM #4940459. The latter part number may have very recently been superceded, though. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
