Has anybody ever been involved with a body swap (60) using the same year cars but only swapping the bodies. Keeping the frames and the Vin tag on the column together. Is this ethical?? Reason: I have found a 60 with the original power train, 270 horse that has many poor repairs in its front nose. The previous body repair used up a truckload of fiberglass CLOTH on the underside everywhere.Followed up with an ungodly amount of undercoating everywhere trying to cover up the horsecrap repairs. There are spots around the grill and the pockets behind the front bumpers with cloth and simply painted over this cloth. Looks good at 40 feet,OK maybe 50. It is a nice car at first look. My 60 project body has some issues but it's body is way way nicer than this cars body. I could just change out the front nose with the wheelwells,etc. ($4000.00). Any experiences or ideas on this move. Thanks! Dick Gutman

Done many over the years NO PROBLEM just like replacing a part, engine,trans and what ever -

Thanks for the replie's. My project 60 also has Power Windows, but I would want to use the nicer door panels from the other 60 which appear original. This other 60 would almost get a Bloomington/survivor except for paint/body and the spoiler would be the interior. Dick GutmanComment
