Hello Dave, I wonder how the seller knew that they were big brake shocks if the part numbers and other stamp information was WAY too rusty/pitted to read? Were they indeed the real deal or phonies? Did they leak? What did the guy say that he would do to resolve your issues? I remember a guy who had some really nice front big brake shocks and he wanted 3000.00 for. I wish I would have bought them because these big brake parts, in any condition are impossible to find and then when you do actually find them, well, your really lucky to get them to sell them to you at any price. Most people just like to put them on the shelves to have spares. So much for helping the needy! Anyway, I have fortunetely found all the parts I need for my 58' big brake car so if I come across some prestine examples then I will let you know. Good luck with the really bad transaction, I hope it works out.

REGUARDING MY ORIGINAL POSTING ON ENGRAVING SHOCK ABSORBERS
I took a junk shock to a "TROPHY SHOP ENGRAVER" and he did a good job replicating the shock stamping info, BUT HIS LAZER EQUIPMENT WOULD NOT GO DEEP ENOUGH INTO THE STEEL OF THE HEAVY SHOCK TO TRULY LOOK ORIGINAL.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS ? Thank You Again, David lombardographics@comcast.net
And guys on the Ebay comments, this is not the place to argue about if you did or didn't describe something properly, that's yesterdays tomatoes, and an offer for a refund was made, So I Say Let's Engrave !!! This hobby wouldn't be any fun without a challenge now & then !!! WE LOVE THIS KIND OF STUFF RIGHT ????- Top
