    The yellow tung-sol 323 flasher is for 67 and 68 is non-DOT and has the split nipple. It also has a flasher capacitor, (separate part) which is used with the flaser in radio equipped cars.

    In 69 the the flasher changed to a Tung-sol Blue Plastic 224, which also had the flasher capacitor on radio equipped cars. Through 72 the flasher had a split nipple and had DOT in raised letter in the plastic case. This is identical to the blue plastic tung-sol 224 used in 66 cars, but in 66 it did not have any DOT markings.
