    lubricant #9985060

The '64 AIM calls for "special lubricant" part no. 9985060 for many applications, from the brake pedal to the door hinges. I can't find a description of what it is, though. What is the current equivalent? Thanks.

    Mark:

Possibly could have been "Lubriplate", but I cannot say for sure. I don't think that you'll go wrong if you substitute white lithium grease.

Hi Jim - Interesting numbers. I have a 1 3/4 Oz tube of Lubricate with words as you describe. But the P/N is 1#1050109, probably designates the lesser amount. Don't use it too much, but handy to have....Dick
