    Are you sure those four holes were square on an original '65?

      Michael,

      I can't say that there never was a 65 bracket with round holes instead of square but I've never seen one. Also, the nylon nut that fits into these holes would require a square hole to fit and lock in place. I really don't think there were any with round holes but anything is possible.
