Can anyone tell me how to remove the right side fresh air vent grill without removing the heater box? Or, how do you remove the grill screw next to the fire wall?

Good question, I don't think you can. I thought about this last winter when I was putting my interior back together and hoping I did not have any problems with the vent cable coming off on right side. I put the grill on before the heater box and was wondering if I should have left the screw out that goes in next to firewall. Let me know if you figure out a way to do!!

Ken, I think the AIM on my 63 says to NOT put that screw in, but if it's there. Take a phillips head bit and place it in the smallest pair of vice grips you can locate. The bit will be on 90 degree angle to the grips. work it into the head of the screw and give it a try.
Fell with your finger or use a small mirror to verify the screw is there. It could be stuck on some adhesive near the firewall.

Hardware and part stores have a tool for those tight areas.
Tough to describe, but, it looks like a screwdriver shaft, no handle, about four inches long. It has a 90 degree bend about 1/2" from each end. One end is a "Cross-recess" pattern and the other is a blade. The tool is used like a wrench to turn the screws. Now that I think about it, seems that I bought mine at Sears.
