Finish of hood emblems speednut, blk or silver?

Hi, had bought 2 kits for the 67/427 hood grill & emblem mount. (speed nuts)and 2 screw fastners for the hood grill.

One set is black finish and the other set that I bought years ago is silver finish.

My question is which one is NCRS correct, siver finish or black?

Also should the 2 screws that hold the hood grill in place be mounted with speed nuts or the metal fastners?

Nuts are black. Screws for grill have flat speed nuts

Speednuts should have black dum-dum also.

dum dum defined

3M makes a black caulk that most mechanics call "dum-dum". It comes in strips at a low price. Check at NAPA.

You can also find the stamped metal nuts with some already applied to the "cup" side of the nut.

The stuff is similar to the strips of grey caulk you could buy (at one time at least) to stick in the cracks of your house windows.
