    C1 Fronst Suspension

    Hello
I have so many problems to find a good KING PIN SET .
I think I need some oversize Bushings for the Kit.
Can ánybody helb or new spindels the better way.
Any spindels for sale ? But here in Germay these parts
    are very rare.

    Thanks from Berlin

Dr. Rebuild carries most of the parts that you need for rebuilding a C1 front suspension. I don't think that they carry spindles since I don't think that new spindles are available.

If you have special needs as far as repairing and/or oversize bushings for the spindles, then I think you might try contacting Kanter Automotive Products. Kanter specializes in front end parts for older cars with king pin-type front suspensions. www.kanter.com

I purchased my 57 front end parts from Kanter and was happy with there product
though the parts are made in asia and probably not as heavy duty as orginal most parts now are made other places

if you want non-oriental king pin set, check out the older NAPA type stores in your area and tell them ya need king pins for a 49 to 54 chevy pass car. TRW brand is what i got years ago. bushings fit spindle well and pin fits bushings and knuckle well also.mike

          What problems are you having?

I do not believe that oversized bushings are available. But you shouldn't need them. Are you saying the holes in the spindle are too big for the kingpin and the bushings? That's highly unusual.

You can buy new spindles. I've seen them sell for around $75 each.

Write back with the exact nature of your problem.
