Looking for information on how to obtain a compressor guard for my 1967 A-6 Compressor. The guard will prevent any oil spilling from the compressor onto the hood of the car. Supposedly manufactured years ago but unavailable today. Does anyone know where I can obtain one or how to build one? Pictures? Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Re: Air Conditioning Compressor Guard 1967
Why not make one out of sheet metal (like stainless steel) and a couple of old brackets that can be bent to need shapes? Bend the sheet metal to the appropriate arc, drill it for some small bolts for attaching to the brackets and bolt the brackets to existing angine accessory items.
Good luck,

By any chance, is anyone going to be at the Carlisle Corvette show Aug 26 - 28? If yes, could you bring the compressor guard with you? I will be at the NCRS Red and White Stripped Tent spaces J-126-127 and K 126-127. It would greatly be appreciated! (203-740-2814 Home Phone)- Top

If you don't want to build your own, here;s one on eBay today. I ordered one last week. Also shows a pic or how it's installed.
