    1963 transmission yoke

Can someone tell me the correct dimensions for the 63 transmission yoke. I have one that's 3 1/2" long but I remember something about a longer yoke and I'm not sure if it is used in 63. Thanks very much

Longer yoke was not necessary nor used in '63 because of the relatively fixed position of the rear end in the '63 car due to the IRS.

      Bill,

Would my yoke that has a splined length of 3 1/2" be correct for a early 63 with a Borg Warner transmission?

Length is ok, the '63 uses a coarse spline congiguration I believe rather than the fine spline used in '64 and later models, if the spline is good, go with it. If needed, the T-10 can also be converted to fine spline by using the trasns mainshaft from a buick or pontiac T-10, direct swap.
