    Fuel Pump 40083

After starting the '64 L84 and lettting it warm up in the drive this past weekend, it just died. Pushed it into the garage, and the trouble shooting began,. Spark from coil ok, and I have the Petronix Pointless Ignition System, and it looked ok. Checked the fuel filter, and no gas to injection pump. Upon replacing the pump, I noticed that the "PIN" that holds the spring/arm assembly in place was missing,, resulting in the "pivot point" moving so that there was no pumping action.

If you have this problem,I have solved it by placing a bit of "weld" to this pin so that it does not fall out again.
