Door spring installation

door spring installation brad going to be installing the drivers side door spring need some tech info on how to go about doing it i didn't by the tool why spend bucks on a bent screwdriver if i have to i'll bend one of my screwdrivers any installation tips would be appreciated the old one is missing so i'm not removing one just installing one thanks

re door spring installation bill baird having installed several of those springs myself i would suggest either buying the tool or bending a screwdriver which is what i did a straight scredriver just doesn't do the job

re door spring installation jack humphrey agree with bill baird buy the install tool fab one yourself or better yet borrow one from one of your local ncrs chapter members if you aren't a member of a local ncrs chapter this is one of the benefits and it won't be the last time you'll earn your chapter dues back from advise counsel consider this springs were in the car when body was painted this is a good time to pull out some of that touch up paint you've got shoot the replacement spring then pop 'er in
