Where do you recomend to buy ball joints for c2
and would you rivet them in or bolt them in.
If riveted where do you get the tool to do that.

If you're going for full judging points, NOS ball joints are the best choice. If you want the best repros in terms of 90% or better cosmetics, then America's Finest Corvettes advertises in the Driveline for a reasonably decent, but not perfect match.
Concerning riveting them, the vast majority of people send theirs off to Van Steel, Bairs, or Long Island Corvette. I sent mine to Van Steel and they did a good job on the riveting, but I was not satisfied with the paint job I asked them to do on the A-arms. If I were to do it again, I would have the A-arms painted locally and then send the painted A-arms and ball joints to Van Steel.
If you're not into judging, then bolting in the ball joints from America's Finest Corvettes will save you a ton of money. A set of NOS ball joints goes for anywhere from $500 to $1000. I think Van Steel wants $25 per A-arm for riveting, plus a fair bit for shipping back and forth. Bolted ball joints from AFC will wind up about 1/3 the cost, but lead to points deducts.
