Additional 68-70 RC-15 info needed

OK guys,

The response last week was kind of underwhelming. I have to believe that more than one 68 or 69 still has its original RC-15 cap.

But, now I'd like to add 1970, and if possible let me know your build date (month is OK) if you have a 70. Why? My review just showed a very early and very original 1970 with a "dished" center rivet. That suggests they used that style at least to the very early 1970 model year.

So, anyone out there with a 68, 69 or 70 that can let me know if they have an original or "dished" brass rivet in the top of their cap? Even if you "think" it's origial please let me know. You can always send me an e-mail and then a picture of your cap, and I can decide if it's a repro or not.

Patrick my original owner 70 still has the original radiator cap. Built July 8th and it has the flat rivet radiator cap.

Thanks Jim. That's what I "expected" for a 70. One original owner early 70 has sort of shifted my paradigm.
Hopefully more 68-70 owners can help us.

My 70 was built the same day as Jim's. I will check tonite and report back.

Patrick, I'm the original owner of a '70. I also have the original radiator cap. Built in June and it has the flat rivet radiator cap.

My July 8 build 70, VIN #14803 has a flat rivet RC-15 radiator cap.
