Hi
I have a 1966 and my odometer and trip odometer stopped working but the speed odometer still works fine so my question is dose any one know what can be the problem and how to fix it.
One of the internal gears that drives the odometer is likely stripped. This happens frequently w/midyears. I just had mine rebuilt for the same reason/symptoms. Works perfectly now. I had mine rebult by Roger Scott at http://www.corvetteinstruments.com He did great work and was quite quick about it.
Tony,
I will second Aaron's recommendation for Roger Scott. I got my speedo unit back from Roger last week. Odometers are a common problem with these units.
Biggest issue is having to remove the cluster from the dash to get to the speedometer. There are many wires, etc. to remove. I suggest that you get a set of Wire Markers and carefully label each wire and terminal during disassembly.
If your clock is not working, it would be a great time to take it out and send it to Roger along with the speedometer.
