    61 clutch and flywheel

Ebay is adverstising a flywheel 3729004 using a 10 1/2" clutch. My understanding is that the 283 used the 10" clutch. Will the 10" pressure plate and clutch assembly bolt to this flywheel?
    Thanks

    Leon-----

The GM casting #3729004 is the correct flywheel for 55-62 Corvette applications and the correct 10" clutch assembly will bolt to it. Whether the clutch being sold with the flywheel is the correct one, or not, I don't know. However, the correct assembly will bolt to the 3729004 flywheel. As far as I know, no differently drilled and tapped flywheels were ever manufactured from the 3729004 casting. I'm not 100% sure that no others were manufactured, though. It's slightly possible but, if so, I know nothing about it.
