Hi All - new to the forum but have been a member of NCRS since about 1990. I have a question concerning what the rear end ratio is on a '58 FI with PG. The only letter that can be seen is a "P". Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The ratio code is on the opposite side of the carrier, should be a couple of letters followed by three numbers. There should also be numbers next to the "P" which are casting numbers and dates. How thick is the P?

I forgot, standard ratio for powerglide was 3:36. You can check this by jacking up the rear of car, rotating rear wheel once and counting the number of revolutions the drive shaft makes.
