How/what do you use to refinish the "sandstone" inner grill area on a 71?

(1) Clean off the existing paint.

(2) Mask to match the old paint lines.

(3) Shoot a coat of self-etchant primer (SEM makes a variety of colors in spray cans; also available from the Eastwood catalog if you can't find locally) so the replacement paint will actually stick to the underlying chrome.

(4) When dry, shoot a final coat of the correct color/texture paint. Terry McManmon has posted the source/color code once or twice before--search the archives...
