    C3 rivetting Q

    Hi,

I would like to know how to install the flat head rivets on a C3. Do you need special tooling or can this be done with a hammer and some iron piece on the flat head ?

    Thanks

Easy way is to make a tool to fit into an air chisel, cut a tool that you don't use where the shank meets the tool, drill a slight dish into the shank to center the tool and "musroom the rivit, have a friend back it up with a heavy metal piece and use the air tool to mushroom the ned, looks just like factory.

      Yves:

Exactly as Bill said! Buck up the flat head with a heavy hammer.
