67 Door Lock Knob Removal

I need to take off the door lock knobs on my 67 to add the plastic washers. How do I take that spring clip off? Would I use the same tool that is used for taking off the spring clip on window cranks?

same tool as window cranks, same horsehoe clip as the handles, same methodology. good luck, mike

As per Mike or I've had success using a right angled pick. You could make one out of a heavy paper clip. I've never tried it but I've heard of others taking a rag behind the knob from the clips open end and pulling the rag forcing the clip off.
