    C-1 Inside door locks

    Hi,On a '62 do the inside door lock handles point straight down when in the unlocked position ? Thanks Terry #43499

    Terry - While the current Judging Manual isn't specific, the 62 Owners Guide sez the knob points down in the LOCKED position. Either fore or aft points an UNLOCKED position. Regards, Dick

      Using the "clock" terminology, in the unlocked position, mine are are at 9:00 o'clock on the drivers side, and locked at about 7:30. Just reversed on the passengers side, i.e. 3 o'clock unlocked, 4:30 locked.

        Thanks Dick I never thought to look in the Owners Guide [DUH].In a picture I've got from an earlier post of a new '62 the handle on the drivers door is a few degrees to the back so that would be unlocked. Thanks Terry
