C6 a real vette?

I knew that subject line would get your attention. But, seriously, what part of the new Z06 is fiberglass and NOT aluminum or carbon fiber?

The only CF body panels are the front inner and outer fenders. All others are conventional SMC, which is not the same as the chopper gun molded fiberglass panels on vintage Corvettes. The new Z06 floor boards also use CF between the balsa wood core instead of SMC.

As far as steel/irom is concerned - all axle and gearbox internals, half shafts, driveshaft, wheel bearings, exhaust manifolds/system.

Internal ferrous engine parts are now limited to the crankshaft, wrist pins, valve gear except TI inlet valves (and springs?), oils pumps, and some other small fabricated parts. Also, don't forget all the fasteners, most of which are still steel and could add up to 100-200 pounds of total vehicle mass.

The C6 probably doesn't have enough ferrous material to detonate a magnetic mine if you happen to run over one.

Many of the exterior body panels on the C5/C6 that were SMC fiberglass on earlier generations are reinforced RIM (Reaction Injection Molded) urethane, not fiberglass. Don't know enough about them to identify the specific panels.
