OK, all you sharp Corvette people, look at e-bay #4570328747, what wrong with this car?????? Check out the Vin Tag, and also the Trin Tag,check date(B06, AO Smith didn't supply bodys until Jan 64. PS: nice pad!!!!!

Trim Tag looks OK to me
The B month is Feb 1964 for Dow-Smith Ionia production. The 6th of Feb (B06) jives with the VIN 11565. Even the white-on-black vinyl interior code of 491C should be acceptable, given that (per NCRS Authentication Library, Vol 1), "the 1964 model year saw the most confusing trim tag information in midyear production". For the entire 1964 production, the exception code letters for a white-on-black vinyl interior coupe were "CA" (no restrictions on body options). St.Louis would have used this trim code 491CA, whereas Dow-Smith used only the first letter 491C.
So I conclude the trim tag is kosher, but that STAMP PAD !!!Comment

I read the discription. The pad looks terrible but the discription seems to be honest. He has not eluded to anything that could be held against him. No claim the egine is original, has listed the problems he is aware of, etc.
I think with any ebay auction dealing with such a high priced item be aware and spend the extra money to visit the car before cash changes hands.

I thought the description of the interior says leather seats. 491 = black vinyl. 899 was used for black leather.Comment
