See link. Two pictures identified on this page as #96 '58 Vette, one as "blown engine" and one as a '59 Vette are all either '56 or '57 Corvettes at Thompson. Timeframe is stated to be '60s but cars look earlier vintage than that in several photos. This may not be the one you're looking for, but you may enjoy viewing the photos anyway.
