Dear all,
Last April an initiative to setup a Dutch NCRS Chapter was undertaken. A lot has happened since the anouncement, therefore I want to use this opportunity to give you an update:
Members:
At the moment we have 34 members:
* 16 sponsor members
* 7 european members
* 11 local members
We growing rapidly at avarage rate of 2 members per month.
Activities:
We started this season with a technical session where we replaced the rubbers on a C1 windscreen of one of our members his car.
We also had a very nice road tour through the Limburg province (the only hilly bit of our country which is located in the south-east).
Last but not least we visited the largest Dutch oldtimer show to represent the Corvette brand and to introduce the NCRS chapter in the Netherlands.
This year we still have the following activities planned:
* NCRS presents at the prestiges Concourse d'Elegance at Palace 't Loo (where our queen used to live, see http://www.concourselegance.com).
* The Dutch Chapter visits the UK Chapter Judging meet in September and gets one of our car judged to get an inside of the judging process taking place in the real world)
* Judging School (a first introduction for our members) in October
PR:
We started our interactive website to encourage Corvette owners to join and to facilitate our members with a knowledgebase, member contact information and a forum.
We also had two ads published in the Driveline of last May to call out for members.
Please follow our progress via our website http://www.ncrs.nl We still welcome new members (also international sponsor members for only $10 per year). Please sign on via our website, your help is highly appreciated!
greetings,
Rob Musquetier
acting President.
