John; it didn't work
John,
I bent over one tang in order to slide out one nylon sleeve, then tilted the door just enough to slide out the opposite nylon sleeve without bending the tab on the other side, but even with both sleeves out, it was impossible to remove the door. The door just couldn't be displaced enough left-right to clear the channel. And once again, the knob prevented removal in the fore and aft sliding directions.

Re: Thanks John; I look forward to hearing back.
Gary,
We confirmed the procedure last night. Bend the tabs out, pull the nylon sliders out and the door will come out by pushing into one of the rails and tipping out the other side.
Good luck with it.- Top

John; that procedure doesn't work on mine
John,
I've done exactly what you said. I removed both nylon sliders, moved the door all the way to one side, but the door edge still doesn't clear the other side. Your door must simply be narrower then mine relative to the distance between sides. You're lucky that yours can come out since I would much rather attach a new knob to a new door separately, rather than after the door in installed in the slides. Oh, well.
