I have been battling high ac temps (high 50's)on my 1966 327 with AC. The current problem is high head pressures on the order of 350 psi.
Classic Auto air, who did most of the renovations, says this is usually not enough cooling/air flow across the ac condensor.
I am reasonably sure I have sufficent air flow; no engine overheat, optional ac collar on shroud, new fan clutch, rubber AC dam on top of radiator support and new Dewitts radiator
The current condensor is a copper replacement to the original all aluminum condensor. I suspect my problem may be the thermal inefficiency of a copper ac condensor
1 Does any one know of a source for all aluminum ac condensor?
2 Is anyone having success with R134a and the repro copper condensor?
