    Re: Battery switch

John, To beat a dead horse, I would never use the green knob type. In addition to all the horror stories about them, they place the battery cable in an awkward position at the terminal hookup (top terminal). I use the Save-ty Switch. It is a high quality, copper knife switch that ensures a positive disconnect every time.

I have a 71 and I put the green knob in years ago. When I undo it, I always pull the cable away from the post. Arnt you suppost to do it that way? Do they make the other switch for a 71?
