    Follow-up Chroming '66 Center Console

Last May I sent my center console as well as a few other parts to " Speed & Sport Chrome Plating" 713-921 0235, Houston TX. Given the nature of pot metal these guys are in a select group of platers, they are also the least expensive from what I can see. But fast turn around on parts is not happening mine took 90 days. This time was fine with me since my car is apart.

Results of chroming the center console were excellent. Before the chrome had bubbled and the surface in some areas was pitted. Now the piece looks new. The hood grills; distributor static guard and gas cap bezel turned out great too. The cost was $595.00. Good source for chroming out of the ordinary parts.
    Ciao,
    Jim
