    C2 Wheel Lugs

I have seen two different headmarkings on standard steel lugnuts; three recessed triangles stamped 120 degrees apart and "RBW." Which of these, if either, is correct for the C2 Corvette?

Hi Joe, I have an original unrestored '67 and all 20 lug nuts have the 3
triangles on them. My car is a September built car. Hope this helps some.

      Thank you, Dave.
My 67 has 15 triangle lugs and 5 with RBW. RBW was a common headmarking in that vintage so I am guessing it is also correct.

GM bought 400,000 lug nuts per day back then - you can bet there were at LEAST two suppliers, probably three or four.
