    what is the difference between a 427 short block and 427 long block ??

      do you mean a tall block? cause that is a dump truck engine.

        No, he didn't ask about a "tall block" - he asked about the difference between the two common terms "short block" and "long block"; no reference to the truck "tall-deck block" term.

            Hello Lyndon,

            You have not answered your responce for the M-22 transmisson of your 1971.
            You had posted it about a month ago. You must of forgot to finish your task.
            We all are still waiting for your answer.

              at this time of the year you will just have to wait. I have not forgot just not going out into the shop with 100+ temps here in texas. an no I dont have any AC in the shop. here in texas when the temp is over 80 an the humidty is 300% you try an stay in as much as one can. it is like the winters up north, this is our verison of a hard winter. you know like a blizzard. but when it cools off some I will get back out an check I have not forgot. it may cool back down to about 79 by november. an that my friends is no joke!
