    Generator Pulley

    Hi all

I'm looking at purchasing a generator pulley for my 1962 vette 250 hp.4 speed. The owner says the pulley is 3 5/8 " diameter & offset. Group 2.274 part# 3750545 is this right for my car?

    Thanks ....John

    John--
I'm not at home so I don't have my parts books, but 3 5/8 diameter with an offset (with integral fan--that's what's offset rather than right up against the trailing edge of the pulley)is correct for a 2174.

I've got a Chevy parts book here. Group 2.274 lists the 1962 Corvette, exc H.L. Cam, as p/n 3750545. It lists the pulley as having a fan, 3 5/8" O.D., 43/64 shaft diameter, 1 groove, groove width of 1/2". That p/n is stamped on the pulley. "Exc H.L. cam" should be 250 and 300 HP motors.

The book says the 340 and 360 HP were 4" OD and stamped 3711685.

I don't remember these pulleys being stamped with a part number.
