              I was trying to figure out how to total ".55 Cents" because that is a little more than half of a cent. Do we have fraction of penny coins?

              Unless you were asking about 55 cents.

                      Steve: i think you have your decimal equivalents confused. A half penny is expressed as a decimal as .005 and a penny is .01. Rob was correct 55 cents is .55. Len 39247

                          Actually, Len, you did not read his subject line carefully enough. If Rob wrote .55 you (and he) would have been correct, as it would have red "55 cents." However, He actually wrote ".55 cents" (NOT .55 as he should have) which is actually read "point 55 cents."

                          My decimals are correct.

                                          I couldn't find a cents symbol, the c with a line through it, on my keyboard, that's why I spelled it out, guess it backfired as far as clarity.
