C2 Is this master cyl. corrcect ? rebuilding cyl

I am overhauling my brake system. The master cyl. on my 67 non-PB car has the following #5460346 on the pass. side and an upside down D2 on the drivers side.
Is this the correct cyl. for my car?
I have it disassembled so I can rebuild it and found that there is no secondary piston stop screw in the front reservoir. Can it funtion w/o the screw? Is it a replacement cylinder that doesn't require the screw???
Finally the NAPA store told me a rebuild kit would cost $29 and a completely rebuilt master cyl. would be about $34. Is the rebuilt cyl. cheap junk? Any advice on this would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Larry

It has been a few years since I have rebuilt a master cylinder like the 67's. The rebuild kit NAPA is offering for $29, does it include only new seals? From the price it sounds like the rebuild kit has new pistons as well. New seals used to be available using your master cylinders pistons for less than $29.

The correct master cylinder for your car is a 5455509, stamped "DC" in the semi-circular machined area at the front. The one you have is a functional replacement when properly rebuilt, but isn't "correct", except for 1967 J56 Power Heavy-Duty Brakes (if it has "PG" stamped at the front).

Don - Both standard and power brake equipped 1967 Corvettes used the DC stamped master cylinder. Pete

I am not sure what the rebuild kit contains. It was not in stock and they would need to order it. I'll give them a call and see if they can give me more info on its contents.
