At Carlisle in the "NCRS Gallery", there was a nice '86 convertible; the laminated window sticker copy was there and called out the color as "Dark Red" - I would have described it as a Bronze; was this "dark red"?
Also, the softtop appeared to be a brown/beige canvas but the sticker called out the top as "White"; when you go to Al Knoch to order '86 white, does a beige top come in the box? Just curious....no speakee late model
Let's see if I can help out any here... The '86-'88 (code 74) Dark Red is a sort of brick-red color, as opposed to a more maroon look that the '91 and later models have. It should not be confused with the bronze, either light or dark, of the '84-'85 models. As far as the top colors go, I can't explain the sticker print. Was it a Bowling Green museum /plant reprint, or one from a third party?
